Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu celebrated its 65th Charter Anniversary with its fourth Spouses Night and Buffet Dinner. The Club received its Charter on 24th November, 1952. Thirty nine members, eleven spouses and five guests that included Assistant Governor Francis Chan and four members of President Ravi’s climbing team – Dr Helen Lasimbang, Dr Liaw Yun Haw, Dr Chuah Uei Chyi and Mr. John Linus, attended the Charter Night.

PDG Datuk Zainie Abdul Aucasa pinned the PHF+4 Paul Harris pin on President Ravi’s coat lapel.

President Ravi also handed over the replacement copy of the Club Charter Certificate obtained from Rotary International to Club Administration Chairman Past President Robert Lai.

The occasion was marked by a cake cutting to commemorate the 65th Anniversary, by all the Past Presidents of the Club present on the occasion.

President Ravi made a Power Point Slide presentation on the recently and successfully concluded Three Mountain Charity Climb. He also introduced members of his team. President Elect Philip gave a rousing vote of thanks.
